Afraid of the T I was just checking behind in this situation. I think another bet would have been right, because a trip imo would make a value bet here?

I agree with you here and go all-in on the river, he could easily hold a weaker T or an underpair. If he holds the Ten, so it be, but a Ten can not check on the river here.
