On the river I would check/call. I put CO on a pair of 8, flushdraw or pocket pair. You only can get value from hand like 99 and maybe A high flushdraws, but by checking you let him bluff his counterfeited pocket pairs and busted flush draws.

Why check/call on the River. Based on that read it's correct to raise the Flop immidiately. Theres not only the need of protection against CO who could still have 6 Outs with hands like QJ or he could even have coldcalled JJ and may fold to bet and raise and UTG has got a wide cappingrange, still including Ax combinations like AT AJ AQ. So just this combinations outweigh the better combinations like AK JJ QQ AA KQ KJ. So raise is fine and you may even induce a 3bet from worse hands.

Given he just called both streets you have an easy valuebet against Ax that he'll certainly call as the board is double paired and flushdraw misses and he's a fish etc. i forgot to mention to give him random broadway hands like QTs QJs and worse Pocketpairs like 44 55 66 77 etc. That makes your Equity even better. You played it well and you can't fold to a Riverraise. He may even turn some worse Hand into a bluff.
