Seems to be my night for oddball hands

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.02(BB) Replayer
SB ($2.01)
BB ($2.93)
UTG ($1.89)
Hero ($0.79)
UTG+2 ($2.49)
MP1 ($1.94)
CO ($1.78) 59/24/33/5/22 vpip/pfr/3bet/wtsd 17 H
BTN ($1.99)

Dealt to Hero A♠ Q♦

fold, Hero raises to $0.08, fold, fold, CO raises to $0.24, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.48, CO calls $0.24
I 4Bet here because AQo is way ahead of a 33% 3bet range. He opened 10 hands out of 17 and 3Bet on 3 of those, maybe too small sample size, but he did seem to be playing wildly.

FLOP ($0.99) 5♣ 4♠ 7♥

Hero bets $0.31 (AI), CO folds
When I saw how little I left behind, I realized I should have just shove flop?
Still not used to MSS stack sizes

Am I justified in playing like this against a player like this?

you have to made the decision preflop: fold or push

i think i am pushing that, too against the fish
