BTN was tight and descent, i dont think that he will raise/ fold in this spot often enough to make shove +EV and i think his range is something like 22+, A7s+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, T9s, A9o+, KTo+, QTo+, JTo but imo he may be even more tigh then this

i dont know about SB range imo with his stack he should flat as trap only haven't seen how he plays he get on table couple of orbits before, i think he played couple of hands but i think he never went to showdown

mine image should be agro lag

stopngo seems alright but IMO your hand isn't doing that poorly against his range. like it allows him to get away from too many suited connector type comboes if they don't hit. i prefer stopngo here with like JT or something where you can actually get lots of better hands to fold postflop. also the other concern here is that if you do stopngo you don't give BU a chance to reisolate you against the SB caller which is simply just bad for both yourself AND BU. so folding is an option if ICM factors are major here, but if not a ship is best.

id shove this

there is a lot of money in the pot so even if you get called you will have enough odds considering your stack will go up by ~2.5x if you win

also you have an ace blocker

i'll agree to chenny + leito! a ship with deadmoney is chipwise def. the best move. if we have reads that sb can trap or normally is always reshoving and is now calling i would be curious. but without those reads and the massive deadmoney its not a bad spot for a shove!
greets

ok guys look at this this way

-BTN was really really tight solid thinking player
that range that i put imo is way off i think he is raising tighter then that (which i mean is really really bad thats why i post that range, i check his stats and he was like 12% from BTN and imo he was like 14%vpip overall)
+ also cos imo he is descent he knows that both SB and BB has great restealing stack so i dont think that any descent player will raise/ fold often enough to make shove profitable one

-also SB if he is good he might me trapping with monster f he is bad he might call shove any with any hand so...

-in retrospective i think call is best and shove on good flops for us, fold imo is weak

- > my original plan was to stop and go vs BTN to increase mine FEQ but when SB calls that plan cant be good any more so i shove but i think i made a mistake i should just call and obv give up on this flop

when you give them such a strong range and traps very often wouldn't it better to just fold a6s because they are pretty much crushing your range and one of them will often call you with that strong range of him after you made the stopNgo?

Imo if you think they are raising tight then just fold. StopnGo vs two people with this hand is suicide imo

The fact that we are also in the dark about SBs flatting range also makes me want to muck it even faster.

yea, i agree... obv when all options sucks best is fold, I guess we all often forget that first important rule of MTT poker

I agree with amplifyd, imo Stop'N'Go is not that effective if BTN is decent. Thinking opponent will see through it.

3bet shove, we have no FE imo / BTN tight range / SB trap?

Bottom line, I would wait for a better spot.

As you put it, when all options sucks - fold :f_biggrin:
