Hi guys,
Do you think fish ratio is greater in 6max than fullring?
I guess 6max has more fishes because it has more action than that of fullring.
cheers

Heh, well. You meet far more 40%+ VPIP players in 6max than in full ring.

Hi Gerovit,
do agree that 6max has more fishes?
If yes, what is the reason?

I concur.
Fish like action, on 6max they get plenty of action. When I was playing full-ring my bankroll was gradually increasing, however since making the switch to 6-max it has skyrocketed.

yes, I played both, and I am 100% that there are more fish on 6max tables as fish loves action, and there are more action on 6max.
And fish like to win, and the variance is higher on 6max tables and sometimes fish hits heater and think they are good and keep playing there.
And loose fish on full ring gets punished very fast, so they don't find interest in playing there.
thank guys for your opinions.
It seems like 6max has more fishes due to more action on it than fullring.
So, it seems like 6max is more profitable.
how about the bankroll management for 6max?
thanks.
Full ring IMO.
SH you generally have to play looser so i'd say fish's mistakes are less "wrong" from optimal strategy. There's fish everywhere though.

Do you think atall? Which of these two players are a bigger fish?.... Player A who plays 45/20 at 6-max or Player B who plays 45/20 at Full-Ring?
You play more hands at a SH table than a FR table, so don't you think player B is more fishey? He's obvs play alot more hands in more spots than he's ment to. Solid stats for SH are what probs like 22/18? FR 15/13? Now at SH the fish is playing at twice the optimal frequencie and at FR he's playing at three times the optimal frequencie. The wider the gap surley the more mistakes there making?
SH there are less players so you can expect to play more hands against the fish in a shorter time than at FR, but this is kind of an off topic point.
But tbh i don't think playing where more fish are is whats important entirely, more a case of what your best at. If your worse game has more fish your not necessarily going to fully reap the rewards as you game will have larger leaks in so you won't be able to take advantage of certain spots fully or you might even miss some edges completely.
"Your biggest enemy at the table is yourself" <<< Focus on yourself and improve your game, whatever variant you play and then reap the rewards.

Most of the coaches in PokerStrategy play SH > FR. So, I guess 6max is more profitable. However, I am not sure about it.

So basically what your saying is more good players play 6-max
Most people tend to switch to 6-max because of more action i think. Poker is about making money though over having fun, but sure you also have to enjoy playing

Hi PocketAcesJohn,
Actually, I agree with "Saruniks" that fish likes action and SH has more action.
We have to admit that more fish ratio mean more profitable.
