Preflop: Hero is SB with Q♠, 8♠
4 folds, MP3 calls, CO calls, BU folds, Hero calls, BB checks.

Flop: (4.00 SB) 8♣, 7♣, 2♣ (4 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, MP3 calls, CO folds.

Turn: (3.50 BB) T♦ (3 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, MP3 folds.

River: (5.50 BB) 4♦ (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 7.50 BB

Did I play this right. Was it worth me getting involved on the flop? Wasn't sure what to do on the turn but I figured they were probably calling with a flush draw, so I protected against it. On the river I thought he wouldn't call a bet with much worse, but might bluff with a flush draw.

Bet bet bet all the way for value against 7x, 2x, weaker 8x, 4x, Ax. I'd also b/c the river as it's heads-up and he might get spazzy with a flushdraw, also the pot is pretty big.

Hi!

With 7x- I wouldnt mind just c/c as there are a lot of busted stuff but 8x is just too good. He will call you with so much worse here and he doesnt really represent anything better unless 56, or just some random 2 pair he hit on the river. For that same reason you should play b/c as default vs unknwon.
