[Closed] AKo 3bet pot

didnt have alot of hands on villan (around 200) but he seemd like he had possibly taglike stats, folded to most 3bets

would he really do that with AK?

edit: i should also note we have no real history together

I call pre vs that villain

As played I like ur F check + turn and r bet. I bet slightly bigger t and r though. As played I fold river and cry

yeah maybe calling pre is better, with AK i like folding out most of his pairs tho that can hit sets. its hard to fold TPTK when u slowplayed AK preflop and hes barrelling large 3 streets

Since he folds to most 3bets, calling pre is definitely an option, but you should 3betbluff in this case.

Postflop I think checking the flop is good. His coldcallingrange is usually smth like TT+,AQ+.
Against this range we're either behind or we get a maximum of 1 street of value, so by c/calling the flop we allow him to bluff with TT/JJ.
Of course it's "hard" to call 3 streets if he bets, but then again that means that his range is strong, therefore you can even c/f turn or river depending on what you assume.

As played I like the turn- & riverbet, imo the sizing is fine, you could bet 7-8 on the river; after all we want a call from AQ.
Once he shoves I'm also folding. Very few opponents are capable of bluffing in this spot.
This line is either KQ or a set.
