Hello BGawli,

I'd still bet the turn a bit bigger ~$3 than make it look like a weak hand. But as played the river is rather a fold, he can't really bluff much, most of the draws completed like a FD and even a GS. Doubt that he is turning his 9x into bluff there. Some 2pair combos are possible now on river as well like 98.

Best regards.

You have absolutely right that I should have bet for $3 and play check/fold on the river.
I knew this but I didn't want to be bluffed on the river. You saw his behavior in other hands.

BTW. We are talking about situation when we are vs thinking player. So this line would be perfect bet Turn on scary card which K easily was in our range but in situation when we are vs maniac, maybe we should take not standard line. As you said in another hand, we're building huge pot with marginal hand in this situation vs player who doesn't afraid lose his money.

Well, my plan would be likely to Bet the turn for free showdown and most likely I would Check/Fold it on river, against any opponent. Unless I have good reason to think anything else of his play.
