0,05/0,10 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.9 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with K♦, A♦
2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, SB calls, BB folds, MP1 calls.

Flop: (5,60 SB) 4♣, J♠, A♣ (3 players)
SB bets, MP1 folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (3,80 BB) 2♥ (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, Hero calls.

River: (9,80 BB) 7♠ (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 11,80 BB

SB plays A2o... Should I have read this from his second bet on the turn or should i have been more aggressive on the flop? I mean, this happens very often, I play SHC and try to apply the tight/aggressive fixed limit strategy provided by pokerstrategy. Whenever I decide to put money in like with AA, KK, AK i loose too much money in comparison to the cases, when I win...

I played now over 1800 hands and I am still a few dollars below the starting money :(. I have played about 17% of my hands, which corresponds to the SHC, I think. I have won 8,8% of my hands... But the winnings are not high enough :(

Many times I see hands like 83o or A-rag-offsuited in the showdowns, played aggressivly. Does this point to weak players on .5/.10 FL and I have a downswing now or does it point to many strong players and I am too weak? (I play on partypoker)

I hope, one more experienced player can comment this. I am playing hours! for a negative win rate, because most of the spots, when I put money in, I loose :(

nh. just bad luck

it´s nothing special to lose money over 1800 hands just because you are running bad. just stick to the shc, keep being focused, post hands and visit coachings. in the long run you will win a lot of money with AK against A2 e.g.

@frzl

come on!

this is very bad played!!

You are not calling SB's bet with TPTK - instead of calling you should raise pot size as protection because of flushy board! I hope Raverand221 did make normal 4+1BB raise preflop...

@ancha666

come on!

your reading abilities are really bad!!

this is FIXED LIMIT and call flop/raise turn heads up with tp/tk is a common value line

I find it hilarious NL players manage to at least 1-2 times a week post things like that in this forum
