hi guys i only played one tourny sense i started last week. mostly because i am a cash game player. but so far i have been averaging around $340 dayly with my biggest win being $740 and the smallest being $40. Sense this is only my first week playing i am obviously going to be playing bigger stakes soon :) and when that happens I hope to be making average profit of 500-1200.

Anyways thats how ive been doing on fulltilt for the past week. Gl everyone and to everyone at poker strategy thanks for this opportunity to play poker and prosper.

I would really like to see the graph and pokerEV graph of those sessions

Sounds like quite the heater, but congratulations anyway! Very nice

ummm i dont graph my sessions usually a program or nothing like that. but i know how much ive won per day. a lot of it has just been that i have spent the last week only playing online. I normally play atleast 5 days a week live, but sense i got my 50 bonus i have just been online every day but one.

yesterday i played 3/6 limit and made $424 in the day, today I played half 3/6 and half 5/10 and made $260. But i only played for 3 hours today so far, so i am hoping to make it a even $500 today hehe.

well just updating. im still going strong. been doing 240-400$ every day. My bankroll is $4300 right now. ill let yall know when i hit 10k.

Nice going. What limits are you playing right now and what is does your BRM look like?

I somehow never manage to have that many winning days in a row. I always have some kind of down-day that puts me back at breakeven somewhere along the road

Im playing 5/10 10/20 and 15/30 all limit games. I am playing both hold em and omaha 8.

as for br management i just try to never put more then 5-10% of my roll on at once. however if a game looks exceptionally juicey (I.E lots of weak fishy players), or its just a game im 100% I can beat, then I take a small risk and am willing to put a bit more then 10% on the table. But sense I am playing limit what you sit down with isnt nearly as important as the blinds, how many are at the table and whos on your left or right.

One thing I am making sure to do is not play too long unless i feel exceptionally sharp, and i try to take my time in picking the right game to play in. Most of the days I played sense I started where maximum 3 hour sessions. some days I only played 30 mins or less even.

hope this helps lemon :)

So you usually only play very few tables but concentrate on these very highly? Where did you learn FL? Books, experience?

Im just asking lots of questions since you seem like a very solid player :)

Thanks lemon, I have worked hard this past year to make myself a better poker player, it is seeming to be paying off :).

I learned FL playing live. I like many players used to only play no limit hold em (which I still do, i just find limit a steadier income). Then one day when I was at the casino I just saw a lot of money on the table at a 4/8 limit game and a lot of the players looked very tired ( it was 3am), so I sat down and gave it a shot, making about 400 in a few hours. After that point I started playing about half no limit and half limit.

Most of my playing style/ skill came strictly from a lot of experience. I however have read about 30% of doyle brunsons super system and about 15% of phil hellmuths book play like the pros, plus theres some good forum posts along the web written by solid players. I learned a lot about position from doyles book, it helped me learn the importance of starting hand choices depending on your position. Phil's book was more a tourny book (and I am a 99% cash game player now) but watching phil's movies and his book definately help you with understanding the importance of stealing pots/ blinds.

I spent a lot of 2007 playing literally thousands of freeroll tournaments online, which for me was a cheap yet effective way of getting a lot of playing experience. When I used to play those I would multi table up to 6 games at once, but now I usually only play a single table, and on the very rare occation I play 2 tables. My main strength in the game is reading my opponents and knowing what they hold, when I multi table I cannot do this very effectively so that is why i now stick to 1 or 2 tables max.

ok i gtg to the gym now :) cya.

just updating my progress, I am at $7000 now. been about 15 days sense i started.

oh and thanks again PS couldent of got started without you guys :).

I have faith in you Chester, you look like you know what you're doing.

There will have to be sometime when you experience a downswing of some sort though. Be interested to hear about that when it happens.

Unless you are blessed. In any case, keep us posted.

well sometimes I think I get more bad beats then Mike Matusow so i know all about downswings hehe. I just tough them out and keep going. I havent been running overly hot these last three weeks (wish i was lol). Just been playing my cards right, folding when I should, bluffing when I should and just trying to play smart poker.

Once I hit the 30k mark I plan on capping it off there and sticking to the 50/100 limit game. It is at that point also that I plan on begining to make periodic withdrawls. The 50/100 game is great on fulltilt, has tons of dead money, it is also big enough to supply a worthwhile income if played 4-7 days a week.

So hopfully sometime in April I can start grinding the 50/100 atleast thats the plan.

Thanks again for the opportunity guys.
