i'm not a NL MTTer...

but it looks like villain had an open shoving stack & probably thought he had fold equity for an open shove with ATC.

Maybe he just didn't see your raise preflop, and then its pretty obv. he just got lucky.

finally someone has a record of this..i see it all the time, a guy raises from early position with like a 25 bb stack, i shove with AA, KK he instacalls with 10/5 and Q2 and wins the hand. So annoying at times!!!!

lol
- how does villain has open shoving stack with 33bb
- he is not just a random villain, he is multitabling MTT reg, if u check the link in OP of his stats on stars u will realized that, => UFgators948 profile
- and he is good enough to know that any descent player who is opening 15bb (not shoving) from utg is not very likely to be folding so he dont have much fold EQ + hand that plays good or has blockers to try to make a move or something like that

so either he was bored/drunk/tilted or he knows/use something that other dont (bug/software)

"Online poker is rigged and he uses cheats to steal your hard earned money when you are a far superior player."

Thats the answer you were waiting for right? There you go.

22k stack with 3k blinds? maybe i missread something.

edit: oh ic now, he called your 4bet shove for 7bb after raising to 21k (thought he shoved).

idk, pot is massive after he raises. obv he just thought he was committed against your range. still not that hard to explain... then he sucked out.

villain has big stack , even if he will lose half of it he is in good shape.
That mean he can do whatever he wants.
I think he made a move on you with ATC.
Maybe he saw how you play , like you pre-raise and fold to 3bet 100%

And please next time dont do topic as if there was fire somewhere.

Check with SNG wizard if call is not right with that odds after your all-in.

You open-raised 2bb not 15bb.
Your stack is 15bb and you do such sheepish open-raise.

You encourage him to make a move on you, he is smart enough and has stack to use this spot, he does it . Then probably has odds to call you with any two.

your raise was weak preflop so he was thinking i can 3bet steal this!
then you 4bet him and after that he cant fold to many chips in the pot only around 20k to call in a pot of around 60k

this looks like a logical anwser i think

I don't want to be rude, but imo u all don't know what the hell are u talking about and obv have HUGE leaks in your MTT game

To make it clear:

- first I never ever said something about his call after i shove, he got to win 25% so even if i had tight range he is getting right odds

- second if u know how to play MTT u should know that I have unexploitable shove form UTG with mine stack <16bb(<8,5M) with something like 22,+JT+,KT+,AT+.. + - some hands ...so assuming that villain dint luckboxed over 62k$ profits on stars, with like 20%roi which means he had to have something like 300k$ winnings, he knows that

- so when i open utg WITH STANDARD RAISE SIZE in that spot either
1) I have monster=not planing to fold= want action like >95% of time, or
2) i'm abusing way to tight table/tight villains in blinds less then <5% of time

#2 is very unlikely with mine stack (it will be <5% of time) cos i'm utg and next hand i'll be in BB and he should know that

when all that said... that small % when i'm trying to abuse tight table/tight villains I will fold to a 3bet no matter how big is it (which in this case standard 3bet should be like 13-15k) and he should know that

- third he has T6o 33bb stack (which is super nice) and no blockers to mine range that wants action which makes more likely that i have monster and want action

- last is he really wiling to risk 40% of his stack to and make break even call vs mine range?
note that he is having break even call cos he 3,5-3,7x mine open raise, if he 2,5x mine open raise he will never have good odds to call and have an easy fold

if he has something like 45s-98s i will be ok with his move, he is taking a gamble w/e... but T6o is atrocious...

so either he was tilting/bored or something like that or there is bug in stars MTT RNG software which his aware of it

I just want to add 1 more thing, @FTP, RIP, there were rush on demand MTT and there was period of time like 40 days or so when 44 were floping sets like crazy maybe 70% of time, and 77 hold up like never => that was obv a bug, they fix it later but good players regs in those game that had noticed that, were playing 44 like QQ+,AK

so who knows :f_confused: ... wtf is going on in online poker... WH has wining MTT bots playing on his side programed by them and allowed with their T&C... huge MTT grinder/winer is 3bet calling off T6o late in MTT vs UTG... every day some new shit pops up...w/e gl @the tables

BTW i'm not whining about bad beat, if unknown do this i would just shake it off w/e, but this guy is solid player winer at games he plays and obv knows what he is doing. so i was very shocked when i look his hand and this thread was to ask had some1 seen some other wining mtt reg to make play like this with same hand

He got coolered/suckouts/bad beat on other tables so he snaped/tilted and started 3b shoving?

Like every other thing in poker you would prolly need a huge sample to prove your thesis.

1. tilt
2. missclick
3. rigged, and he knows it
In that order.

Could be a misclick with having standard 3bet sizes done by Tableninja and just clicking the wrong button or hotkey.

I don't believe he would actually do this as a 3bet-steal since it would be a horrible spot to do it if you ask me. (UTG Minraises don't tend to be very weak.)

Be happy youre ahead preflop! second youre play is okay if you were trying to trap 3rd he called because T6o is most likely not dominated he obviously put you on 22-55 AJo+ AJs+ Ax ect and will just feel unlucky if you really are holding a monster which you do. obviously he gambled

you should have told him not to gamble preplop major leak
