I have a question about when and why to lead the pot?

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
PL Omaha $0.50(BB) Replayer
Hero ($49.50)
($50)
UTG ($73.53)
CO ($80.99)

Hero posts (SB) $0.25

Dealt to Hero T♠ J♦ Q♠ A♣

UTG calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50, Hero calls $0.25, checks

FLOP ($2) A♠ 6♠ 9♣

Hero can i lead hear and why is it good or wrong?

thanks

Preflop raise is tempting, but I think you're doing the right thing just calling here.

Flop: Yes, definitely lead out here. $1.40 is a good amount, you don't want the straight draws folding when your flush draw has them covered. You can consider folding if someone raises and a third player calls both bets cold but betting this flop is a much better way of finding out where you are in the hand than check/calling or check/raising.

It's unlikely someone has AA, it's possible someone has A9/99/66 but AQ here is going to be good a lot of the time, especially with your flush redraw and live sidecards.
