Hi everyone :)

I have 100$ in my bankroll. And i want to play omaha cash games ,I read all articles here about omaha. I feel pretty comfortable to beat PL10 but my bankroll is wery small :(

And my Main goal is ,,get out of the micro stakes as fast as can ,, atleast PL50

What you guys think ,what should i do .risk and play out of my BR our grind PL2 (that would take a year to reach PL50 ) maybe some small tourneys for big score ???

Some advice please????? _love:

10bi swings are extremely common in PLO, especially at the micros where people will call down with FAR less equity than they really should.

I've had swings of nearly 30bi at PLO10, bigger on PLO25 on PP, where the games are also soft.

I'd really recommend you to play PLO2 if PLO is what you really desire.
You could always play some NLHE to build up your roll better for PLO though.

Richard

I've got no experience in Ohama or PO however you can read bankroll management here in the strategy guides , I do know if its NL you should be play NL4 (25x) Sorry i cant be as helpful.

recommendations:

a) play lower limits when starting a new game. just because your rolled for PLO10 doesn't mean you should start there. If you aren't ready for it, you will just lose money faster.

b) play 30,000 hands at least before you consider moving up.

c) make a BRM plan, and follow it.

If you're gonna use bad BRM then I would suggest trying NLHE10. Swings are too harsh in PLO so try building a BR in HE first. Double your $100 and you'll have a half decent roll for PLO10. Too crazy a game for me :).

flip a few times so you can play a limit where the plo rake isint crazy high

Tnx guys for answers :)

The problem with NL is that Iam not good at it :f_confused: I have experience with omaha and i can beat PL10.
How you all think if I play PL5 with 100$ bankroll . it wouldn't be to crazy?
I read all BRM articles and I know the variance....,but i want to get out of the micros :f_p:

Risk vs Reward????

I absolutely know what you're feeling. I for example feel that I could pretty comfortably beat NL1k but somehow I keep breaking even at NL100. Surely something wrong with software(s) of poker room(s).

From my own expierence - i started with 35 bucks playing PLH 0,01/0,02 usd. When i saw a positive tendency (after couple of weeks), from my next months salary added 100$ more to my bankroll, so I could advance to 0,02/0,04 usd tables. Had a few lucky moments at MTT freerolls and now I play @ 0,05/0,10 usd tables (according to PS money management rulles).
