I decide to take a flop IP vs this guy and get a caller in the BB which i dont mind. I float the flop with my GS thinking he can easly c-bet his air here and I can win on the turn. He checks so I bet to take it away on the turn. River pairs the 5 and I think I can bluff profitably here vs his range.

He is aggro so I think he continues the turn with 9x and Tx so I figure he cant call on the river. He also isnt showing down light often enough for me to think he can call here.

Hello Meemawuk,

Not a really huge fan of picking such a line. I'd really be towards Checking on the turn while his CB already into multiway pot is pretty strong. He ain't gonna lay down any draws or made hands anyways.

River card is just bad to Bet, since now he beats as well all the 2pairs with his overpair which may even sometimes go for pot control this way.

Although easiest way to play the hand would be just to fold it on flop while you only have a GS.

Best Regards.

As I said before, I float the flop with GS thinking he can easly c-bet his air here and I can win on the turn when he gives up.

This is three way pot....also BB has to act behind you...

You said also that you don't mind about BB but in fact as played BB has just a great odds to call if he is on any kind of draw or maybe even overcards so i think that is to weak to say that we dont mind about BB in this spot.

For me it is a flop check/fold....and you will have so many opportunities in next hands to take such a line i think more profitably.

I found myself many times in same position as you and i just want to make ppl fold.....i think this is one of the most costly mistakes we are doing on low limits.... probably on high it is even worse.

Its better just fold when we know that we are beaten....sometimes simple decisions are the best ones.

Well, we still are in multiway pot and his CBetting range is rather stronger. :(
