I haven't had a single downswing since I cashed out at PokerStars and continued playing there for a while afterwards. I am seriously considering this "conspiracy theory" to hold some truth. I have never seen this many coolers in one day.
Guess I've learned to cash out everything and never play again at a site I've just cashed out from. Definitely done with Bwin. On to deposit at a new site and get the depositor's upswing reward.
So they would like to punish you to make you lose everything and quit making rake to them.

I'm a sceptical person. The first few times I ran hot when depositing to a new room and went on a doomer after cashing out I was like - meh, this is a coincidence. Surely it's not rigged. Now it has happened for like five times.
Well, I'm still sceptical about it. But one can't help wondering...
@ Zheelvern: winning players don't "create" rake. It all comes down to the cash-pool. Losing players bring in the money and winning players draw the money out. If there were no good players what would bad players do, play a little and then cash it out? No, they'll keep donking around untill it's all eaten up by rake. Only people who take money out from the circulation are good players. Room doesn't need good players for anything, maybe only to get the traffic numbers up temporarily.

I dont understand why everytime someone directly or indirectly "accuses" online poker of being rigged so many ordinary players turn against them. Think about all the stories we will never hear because those who sits on them dont want to get flamed and laughed at instead of listened to.
How easy wouldnt it be for a pokersite to actually do these things when the community reacts to the stories like it does now?
When someone genuinely experiences cashout curses like this it is something that has an extremely low probability to happen. We should be observant about other players experiences and not attack those with experiences that leads us to a negative result we dont want (rigged).

Another day of running bad. Same site. I had $2565 there and decided to cash out. I had cleared 30% of a $100 bonus and decided not to cash everything out just so I could clear it, so I only cashed out $2000. Big mistake.
Now I have $110 left and the bonus is at 93%. Bwin, I'm never coming back.

I'm not attacking anyone neither taking any side. But saying cashout curse this, cashout curse that is just dumb. Even if it's true adjusting is supereasy: Deposit on new account > run hot > cashout and switch skins > billions $$$$
It's all superstition and nothing else.

Downswings have almost a 100% chance to occur if you play for any period.
Sites are not rigged. It has been proven for multiple sites. Anyone with a million hands can find that they are within normal deviation of ev.

We are not talking about a normal dowswing here. We are talking about starting to lose right after cashing out, multiple times. It is possible, but chanse of its happening is very low.

Rigging doesnt always mean that you go beyond normal devation of ev... Why would it?

Maybe, but it does not account for AA-KK, set over set, flush over flush. Plus, "EV" is still only all in EV, not money in EV. So if 70% of the money goes in before the river while you are ahead and only 30% on the river while you are behind it won't show on the EV line.

You would not believe but not long ago I made my first cash-out and my line has stopped to grow and instead now rush quickly down.
Unfortunately, I don't believe in cosiracy theory, online rigged and stuff like that because doesn't make sense and there isn't any return for them to do that instead they can blow up their business for no reason so I will exclude any things like that.
There is still the super-natural explaination but I would easily exclude that as well as I don't believe in magic.
In fact, I m going to open a thread my self about my downswing as I would like see if I can get some advice.

well firstly you played the 82 hand badly...
secondly..i think ppls mindset changes according to their cashier...so when they withdraw, they start playing differently. Hence the downswing.
Cause this happens to most beginners/ppl who havent withdrawn too many times.
I think once ppl stop thinking about the balance/money etc, these things will stop happening..
easier said than done though..
