You've probably heard about the 10th anniversary of pokerstars. I think there are 3 events so far that they've come up with, but the one that I REALLY want to play, is the sunday 10M! $215 buy-in with $10,000,000 guaranteed. So I deposited $50 into pokerstars. I'm pretty much a 180-man turbo SNG player but if you've ever played those, you'd know that the swings are brutal. They are $2.50 to buy-in and there is a descent chance that you go broke with only 100 buy-ins in your bankroll. So I had a plan: play $1.50 ST SNGs. Every time I have $2.50 over the original $50, I'll buy-into a $2.50 180 man. Unfortunately the downswing started when on my first sessions :( I'm now at something like $12 after 80 games.
But I have $40 on partypoker! Time to grind those NL2 tables. When I have $1K, I'm going to take it out and put it all in pokerstars to really start making $$$$ lol sorry PP.
Goals:
-Play 3000 hands a day (I really don't know how many hands I can play per day, but I can play full time so I'm guessing that this will be fine :P)
-Don't tilt
-Put some hands up
-Crush the fish! _cool:

I wish you the very best of luck... however, I would recommend you stick to bankroll management. Prevents you going broke so that you can stark making some $$$$

Happy crushing those fish!

Thanks Zareos! Yea I'll keep to safe bankroll management. Except for tonight lol

First session went pretty good :) NL2 full ring tables were going dry earlier than I expected. I was running pretty descent so I decided to take a crack at the NL4 6max tables. So I usually have more hands played in the time I played but not as many tables were available. It's only 9:17pm here... US payers really need to be able to play again lol

2228 hands
+$15.03/$EV: +$17.19
+$3.95/hour
New balance: $52.48 (I registered in a $2 MTT that is coming up in an hour)

Pretty good day :) I was getting bored because I was only finding about 4-6 descent tables with fish. So I decided to get back on pokerstars and take another crack at those SNGs!

PS: 72 x $1.50 Fifty50 games = +$12.13 out of the downswing!!!
BR: $25.45

PP: 915 hands
$3.18/$EV: +3.44
BR: $52.38

Here are some hands that I thought were interesting enough to post

I was going to add another goal (get 10SP every day from partypoker to get that extra $20), but I just had a very confident day at the SNG tables! This deserves a graph :f_biggrin:
*that drop at the beginning was the run bad first sessions*

These are $1.50 Fifty50s

BR = $54.18 + $10 deposit bonus (I receive every 170VPP) = $64.18

Partypoker BR = $52.91
I don't think I'll be using PP anymore. It just takes too much time to get to 100points only playing NL4. I might play a bunch of $6 SNGs and see what happens lol
