I know my bet size on turn looks horrible, but my rationale was to try to get a fairly large range to call and then be pot committed on river.

If I had known his hand I'm not sure I would have changed my play, his odds were horrible with just a gut shot.

Hello Philfox1985,

Well, make it easy and simple. Protect your hand, bet the flop bigger and ship the turn. :) If he has a hand his going to Call you anyways.

Best Regards.

1. Why do you write the result in the topic? it doesnt matter.

2. your betsizes just let him draw into whatever he have, 1/3 of the potsize on the turn he will call with his whole flop calling range including gutshots etc
