I just started doing Party DoNs just for the Go4Gold promo, and found I like them.

After clearing the FDB I will be moving sites where I effectively get 10-40% rakeback every month and 30% of my rake goes into sponsorship£ to play bigger events.

What site is that?

Yeah I started DoN for that promo but only noticed when I had exactly 20 days to clear and the first day I got 9.95 points

It is another ipoker site but you have to sign up through another affiliate. Not sure if im allowed to mention on her or not?

The effective rakeback depends on your level and you get a chunk up front and then the rest as a very easy to clear bonus

These things get pretty crazy at night played 3 sets of 8 tonight

Going up slowly but surely

Quick update.

After a bad couple of days saved by a win in a regular 6-max SnG and clearing $5 of FDB I have withdrawn my roll off poker770. Using some for things around the house I will deposit £30 on Genting Poker and continue 8-tabling 6-max DoN. I have chose to move now instead of later because of the sponsorship £ i receive and I am planning to play a £100+9 event next year using these and also the effective rakeback I receive which makes the break even/loss sessions easier to deal with.

My Poker Goals
Short term

- Move up to $2.40 DoNs (Approx £75)

Long term
- Add more tables
- Earn £109 sponsorship£ to play tournament (£4.20/£109)

Good start on the new site. Only managed to play 9 games but cashed in all

Is this a 6-max DoN?

If so, have a look at the ICM calculations for this hand
CO apparently knows what he's doing, pushing any two.
I doubt that I could push 64o here, though.

In your position, ICM says call from BB w/ JJ+ only.
The two smaller stacks hit the blinds ahead of you, which makes it profitable to try to outwait them.

I play the 10-man DoNs on Party, and this has been the toughest thing for me to learn. There are times when ICM says you fold AA -- for example if you are mid stack w/ two other stacks w/ < 3 BB who will hit the blinds ahead of you, you fold everything.

If you haven't already, d/l SitNGoWizard and run it in quiz mode a few hundred times.

In a hand I posted in the eval forum, the coach put it this way: Don't play chicken with the big stack.

Not updated for a while and I update with a change.

DoN's were getting a bit boring and making me hate playing poker and after a bad downswing i withdrew my roll and deposited $10 on stars.

I have now started playing a mix of 6 max Sngs and multi-table sngs (45 man at the minute) and having a lot better time.

Im only playing low stakes but I dont have alot of spare money to throw around (baby on the way :))

Im playing $1.50 6max Sngs and 0.25 45 man.

So far I have only played 4 45man games but I won the first final tabled the next two where I got unlucky both times. Kings into queens they makes three of a kind and QQ vs A7 hits an ace on the river. And the forth im playing at the minute currently on final table 1st out of 8

6max also doing well made just under $10 profit after 21 games. Ill upload graphs after this game

I have started playing in my local league game, £5 to enter. Not the best structure 6000 chips to start blinds start at 100/200. Usually get between 35 and 50 players. They have so many weeks to collect points and then a final of the top 18 for the trophy. I joined halfway through the league last season and guess where I came? 19th :evil:. If anyone has any tips for this tourney because of the high blinds starting I seem to sit waiting for a hand and either find something or get blinded down.

Yeah Im really liking the 45 man sngs, I dont know if im just on an upswing but 4/4 final tables seems pretty good for me.

Flop comes xxJ with 2 clubs and i raise half the pot which he calls.

Turn A (WOO ) again raise half the pot and he calls

River 4 clubs and he shoves and I call. He shows K4 clubs for the flush.

I think I probably should have re-raised pre-flop but because of the min-raise I put him on Ax

I was about to give up when I read a challenge on two plus two about a spin up attempt from $5 and it got me thinking.

I cannot put the hours of other people but I wanted to see how far I could get with my $4.50.

Been to the local last night for the league game, £2 christmas special £150 first place.

I just couldn't get anything going. Only decent hand I had was QQ and everyone folded to my raise. Was down to 3k after posting 600 blind limped round to me with K9. Board was K85 so I shove and get called by K5. Oh well was nice to get a live game in again.

I have moved onto betfair ATM trying to take advantage of the FDB which should help my BR. My goal is to clear this by the end of the week then Im back at starts and NL$2 by time I break up from work so hopefully be able to complete a couple of goals even though the poker playing has been slow
