crap hand for me, this guy calls me preflop with J5s and hits the complete nuts on the flop. i only had 5 hands on him so i wasnt paying attention to his stats and thought i had him killed on this flop. either way it has kept me bothered since.

what is my mistake here? after he called me on the flop i thought he had maybe an A5 or a diamond draw. my call on the river is a bad mistake i believe, i still need to learn better to fold my aces when i know im beat like this spot.

should i have checked behind on the turn for pot control and folded the river?

Hello Slurpee,

Kind of dumb spot but I doubt I would play it any differently. Most likely if he would have done even bigger Bet on the river we might sometimes consider even folding if he is really passive since it's gonna be more often a bluff. But for the given odds we can't fold here. :( Nice hand!

Best Regards.
