SB: $5.06 (126.5 bb)
Hero (BB): $4 (100 bb)
MP: $4.96 (124 bb)
CO: $3.42 (85.5 bb)
BTN: $2.34 (58.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9 T
MP folds, CO calls $0.04, 2 folds, Hero checks

Flop: ($0.10) Q 6 K (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks

Turn: ($0.10) A (2 players)
Hero bets $0.10, CO folds

Results: $0.10 pot
Final Board: Q 6 K A
Hero mucked 9 T and won $0.10 ($0.06 net)
CO mucked and lost (-$0.04 net)

Our opponent seemed fishy (39 VPIP/13 PFR/ 50 WTSD over a small sample size of 24 hands). I couldn't figure out if a flop semibluff would be profitable against this kind of opponent. When he checks I decide to go for a stab but the turn card is not too blank, thus I'm unsure if the bluff now makes any more sense than it would have on the flop.

Also, if we bluff the turn and he calls, is it even sensible to consider a bluffbet on the river against him?

Bluffing in a freeplay always seems to end up poorly unless it's against a very nitty player. This was only for 10c so I don't mind it though.

Hello Avatars91,

I'd actually take a stab right on the flop. :) While you have already there fold equity and even a GS.

Best Regards.

1) Is the stab on the turn ok?

2) Does the fact that our opponent might be a calling station not make us lean towards folding?

It's fine but as I said rather bet it right on the flop. :) Calling station of course means that he might easily be towards not folding any high card hands nor GS or any weak pair.
