hello all..i have never had poker software, and i think the one following my own stats would do for now...are those free, have to buy it?
later on, maybe in few months, i will definitely get tracking software, which of course i have to pay for...but what about the first one?

It is the wrong forum.

First questions:

  • On which plattform do you play
  • Do you play CG or SNG
  • If you play SNG, is it a problem for you to have no HUD and only use the tracker for session review and graphs

Hey guys,

Moved this into the Poker Software section where you should get a few more answers :)

Best wishes,

Hi lidibogovic,

You could try downloading Pokerstrategy's very own elephant software for free, this will provide you with graphs, stats and a HUD etc.

http://www.pokerstrategy.com/software/9/

Good luck,

Danny.

That would be my suggestion, if he can use the elephant on his side and for his games.

If he plays PLO, he cannot use the elephant. In this case he can try to use this one. <-- Click me

At the top of the Side you can find the tab summary. There you will come to the side where you can download the program.

thanks, i will try it out..

EDIT:
1)"Supports all games/sites non-xml format hand histories"
2)"Merge, iPoker and Everest all use xml, and only list some details at the start of the hh file. We are working to get this fixed (Dec 2011)" :(

and when i am already here, is there any hem that most of the players use, some sort of the "best" hem, whatever that means (the most user-friendly or so)? also, what are the prices?

Hi lidibogivic, sorry about the delay.

Here is a link to our software if it maybe of some use to you;

http://www.pokerstrategy.com/software/

The best holdem manager type programmes would seem to be Holdem Manager and Poker Tracker. I have no experience of Poker Tracker so can't really advise there.

I will try again,

Regards,

Mal.

Omaha Manager should have 15(or 30) days trial, so you might try that out :)
