Do you ever go to Gunwarf Casino?

used to go twice a week, but just bought a car so im skint now haha, im only 19 so the buyin there is alot for me. do you ever go ?

I go on occasion, Maybe once a month on my day off, Which happens to be a Thursday for the £25 Freezeout I've done quite well in the Tourneys but around even on the Cash.

They do an Unlimited Rebuy for £5 now on Mondays, may give that a go some when.

Also the "Link Touney / Solent 50" is coming up on the 29th, Will most probably be in that.

I LOOKED ON GROSVENOR WEBSITE BUT THEY DONT SAY MUCH ABOUT IT.

DO THEY HAVE DECENT SIDE GAMES AFTER THE TOURNEY? IF THEY DO WHAT KIND OF STAKES ARE THEY?

if your talking cash it will be 1-1 usually but it ends up more like nl200 - 500, they also run a smaller game which is 0.50 - 1 and the standered buyin for that is usually 50 its a bit mismatched but some good money to be made

Would be cool to meet up with some fellow PS'ers.

There is a Card Room in Shanklin, Never been in there though, A few people have told me it can get rough in there. Other than that, its Pub games.

Tourney Shedule

It is usually the the £1/£1 Game on, and usually about 6 Regulars sat down everytime I've visited.

As far as I know the Solent 50 is a £50 Buy-in with 1 Rebuy, not sure about Addons. The tourney is linked with Southampton Tourney, Each Casino gets roughly 70 Runners, and the last event reached a £13000 Prize Pool.
Once Each Casino Reaches its final table, the tourney stops and will be restarted at the Gunwarf Casino with players from both final Tables.

Also, after 4PM The Cat Is now only £7.50, bonus

Yea, i did walk in when it first opened, it looks alright, but still has the stigma of a dodgy place. Do you know where "The Archers" Was? It took over that biulding. If not, Opposite Poundland there is an entry, Just in there

I've only ever sat down with £100 a couple of times, standard Raise there is £6.

I'd much rather join the 0.5/1 At least then my £100 would be a big stack Unlike the larger table where they are sat with a good £500 each.

I also live a few miles north of Pompey.

There's a card room (Phoenix) in Waterlooville. It used to be Duffs Full House, but closed and opened up rebranded. Haven't been there since the days of Duffs though so don't know what it's like, but will do soon.

There's also a Hampshire Poker League that tours between Pompey, W/Looville & Chichester snooker rooms with smallish buyin's but again not quite got around to it myself.

Ironically I've spent large parts of 2011 on the poker circuit travelling around the UK (including 3x separate trips to Coventry), but still haven't yet been to the Grosvenor at Gunwharf I'm up for a mini regional meetup though if you guys want to sometime. Tournament though, I suck at cash, it bores me tbh

well guys this £50 linked torny is sounding great for a meetup, its a buyin most of us can afford and its a nice little torny.

about there being 6 regs every time youve been, yes there regs but they suck. there like money fountains

I've not spent enough time sat down with the regs to see if they're any good. but im sure they are more comfortable than me considering I play only NL6 atm

Yea, pretty sure is 3pm.

I'll be going by FastCat too, biggest decision is wether or not i pay the £5 Park ticket at the pier

Not sure what time, I usually get there just in time, maybe 2:15 Cat(Not checked Sunday Times yet) but if there is a few of us, probably earlier.
