Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.5/$1 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)

Known players:
[tg]MP3$170.03:///////;CO$101.00:///////;BU$107.00:///////;SB$100.50:///////;BB$137.22:///////;UTG2$177.86:///////;MP1$101.50:///////;MP2 (Hero)$188.13:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A:h, A:s.
2 folds, Hero raises to $3.00, MP3 folds, CO raises to $10.00, 3 folds, Hero raises to $26.00, CO folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $11.5.

So villain is a tight player (11 9, 400 hands) and has 3bet only once in those 400 hands... So my question is simple should i 4bet or just flat call?

I decide to 4bet (and think it s better to 4bet) because if he s 3betting really tight i usually assume he has ak, qq+, which he is pushing over a 4bet and if i flat ak could miss, and qq or kk might run into a bad board (something like an ace high board, 8910, or lets say all spades) and he might get away from his hand... Ofc he could fold something like jj (which he probably had here) to a 4bet, but if i decide to flat rarely would he flop really good, and even if he did (without hitting a set) i m oop and it would be hard for me to play my hand without making it look really strong...

So is my logic correct here or am i missing something?

As always any kind of help is welcome...

LOL, once in 400 hands ... He might 3bet only A5s or some other stuff as bluff, looks like he's just calling KK because of his super tight 3bet range and he folded to your 4bet. If he has KK in his 3bet range, u should definitely 4bet, otherwise just call and 4bet him sometimes with A blocker as bluff.

Vs such a tight bettor calling is fine imo.
We will stack KK almost always as we block 2 aces already.
If there's any chance he's bluffing he probably cbets close to 100% which means some extra BB for us.
Generally those spots might appear frustrating because there's just nothing you can do vs his strong range - just keep in mind that this is the best possible scenario for us because he's making it extremely easy for us to play vs fish.
