first of all nice tilt and nice finish in your tournament, i kinda did the same thing : built my br to 300$ from 50$, got sucked out an insane number of times and lost everything that was left by gambling at NL**insert number bigger than my bankroll**
but then i deposited 20 bucsk on mansion, registered in a 10$ tourney and won it for 770$, that was so great. Since then I played NL25 SH and mr br is now at 930$ but the thing is I already had a 5month experience with NL SH Big Stack before last summer, and had to cash out everything to pay for a trip to Moscow.

As you don't seem to have a lot of practical experience, I would recommend you play at NL10 FR or SH, try both and see what form you prefer.

450$ br is really no overroll for NL10, it is 45buy-ins, and I guess an overroll starts at 100 buy-ins minimum, and that number increases as you go up limits. Any guy playing NL2K has a minimum of 200K roll... or at least he has the money in his bank account or stock market or whatever.

I would add I am not a big fan of moving up limits once you have played a fixed number of hands or once you have the bankroll for it. I guess you should move up once you feel pretty sure you have beaten the limit you're in and just get bored playing these newbies ♦. Whether that takes 5K hands or 100K is up to you and your talent i guess.

The biggest disadvantage of me living with someone else is that we share the same PC and we both play poker, so we have to find schedule our sessions accordingly. Mine is over for today.

@megaB - Yeah , we have the same stories.I dont think Im rdy for SH play, and i find myself a bit too loose anyway - dont want to justify it by reducing the ring ♦.Nice hearing that you used your roll for a practical thing, I'm looking for that too ;). Here's something for you if you want to move up carefully :
Either have 25 buy-ins (instead of 100) or the higher limit AND have at least 25k hands at the current limit. Then I think you're sure you can beat the current limit and have enough cash to move up, as long as you move down in time (whether that is at 15 buyins or 20 buyins is none of my business)

just wanted to point out I said 100buy-ins was an overroll for small stakes, but 45 isn't
it also depends on whether you play FR (obv 25 is engouh), SH (50 is better) or HU (I think 75 is a minimum)

On mansion I once asked a regular waiting at his headsup table how many buyins should one guy have at NL1K+, and he said without a doubt 100 buyins is a minimum
Sure at lower stakes this number can be divided by 2, or 3.

Plus I've heard of downswing going on for more than 100K hand (pokerEV allin luck) and you'll need more than 25buyin against such a stretched-out swing.

Just my 2cents

30 BI for SH is fine, but you obviously have to be capable of moving down when you go under 30BI...

Thanks for the suggestions,proper BRM is way more clear to me now, but for now Ill stick to NL10 though.

Been trying today on 4 tables for like 1-2 hours - its not an easy task, especially with the Mansion super lazy full of buggs software.
Still, going nice, passive tables with lots of calling stations are rly nice for a BSS player.Played some TAG poker and so far it pays off.
Now I have another concern - The mansion points needed to withdraw/clear the bonus are far too much.I mean, its equal to Full tilt points, and FTPs come like 10:1 compared to MCPs.
Ok, now i got PT to work with mansion, feel pretty proud about myself ♦.
It made me realise how bad hands/hour rate Mansion really has.

@vladnz - I play ten handed, and the tables are pretty loose passive, so stealing isnt rly profitable. And anyway, its only after 550 hands, I didnt have much raising hands.

300 hands on cash, considering i play 4 tables - not much ffs.
And as a last, all the Nl10 tables werefull,so I decided to run a set of 4 turbo sng's - my lucky swing continues, finished out 7th in one of them, and won the other 3.
Current banrkoll : 590$...
Still cant believe I made a 1000 BB's profit with 4 sngs and less than 1k hands..lucky i guess..

Played another 1k hands today, and got a series of bad beats(finally, i was wondering when its going to happen),so only 100BBs progress today.
I think i can totally beat this limit, but im imposing my 10k rule.Ill make a minimum of 10k hands on every limit before i move to the next one,if i have the correct bankroll that is.I'll also update my graph every 5k hands, to see how Im doing.
Objective update:
-Finish 10k NlL10 hands.
-Make Gold in PS till the end of the month.
-Make the 1500MCP to claim the bonus.
