Hmm I havent updated in a while, so I do now.
Didnt play a lot these days, real life stuff.
Im about 8k hands,712$.Nothing spectacular.
I finally made PAHUD to work with mansion mini tables, and am testing it out now.
Trying to determine the best time of the day to play, it varies just too much to be neglected.
I've placed 4th in a live 100 player "turbo"(15 min for blinds to increase isnt too much in my regard) tourney in a poker club in my town.Pretty proud with it
15 euro fee, 410 euro award.
As the tournament was pretty fast(and still boring - 20hands per hour is just soo slow),I didnt get a lot of playable hands.Cracked AA with set of 3s on the flop, after the guy just minraised preflop and then shove it in.Won a coinflip with AKs against 55 vs a shorter stack, and doubled with KK against QQ.Lost with ATs to JJ in the final four.
Overall, a nice experience.Im looking forward to participating in morelive tourneys.I hope properly organised ones with some behaviour and patience adjustments can make me a not bad player
hows it going I think I saw u post in downswing section hope everythings going ok.
Yup, Im on a downswing now.
Lost about 8 buyins in 1500 hands on Nl15, which was quite shocking.
I took one day break and im feeling better today, recovered one the buyins.
I'm almost 10k hands, but I decided I wont move up to Nl25 until I get +stats on NL15. The worst and the best hand i had today:

//// what a crappy hand.Didnt know why even limped with it(apparently missclick), or why didnt I shove( or fold IMO) on the flop.Never the less, Im sick of trappers, on this level they are a lot :rolleyes
Apparently that was the next hand on the same table.tilt sux
I would played both hands a little different, but result would be same.
Hope you´ll recover downswing soon.
Hi tzveti
I would have played different:
Hand1: bet bigger for protection and go broke.
Hand2: b/f to such action. c/r/fold to such action. Button 2 pair is not realy good in a multiway pot.
Hopefully you can stop the downswing. But you have to improve your game as well.
Best regards,
TribunCaesar
@TribunCaesar - Hand 1 :You mean on the flop ? Preflop it was 4BB, the max I could bet without being obvious
Hand 2 : I admitted, I wouldnt play that hand the same again, just too tilty.
POsted for an example how for me lately good play is punished and bad play - rewarded.
@Kaitz20 - pretty straightforward , eh
Thank you all for the comments,Im taking a break right now, maybe Ill start some low limits SnG's as I wait for my bad luck in cash to disappear.
Hmm I have a bad time struggling this NL15.Im winning or losing a stack or two every session I play, but problem is that I do not find fishes on those tables.Dunno whats the big difference beetween NL15 and NL10, I suppose it may be so as there are only a limited number of people who are playing NL15(believe it or not, we have around 20-30 multitabers that are regular , and rarely new nicks) and they're all just TOO tight, I cant get anything out of them, unless i have top set against top two pair or set over set.The reverse quite happens and evens things.Should I quit this strange limit , and where should I go?
Did I mention I was pretty much card dead lately?
Currently Im behind almost 10 stacks at NL15.
Play NL10 (as you beat) until you reach a bankroll for NL25(witch you may got?), that is the normal way to go
You should at leats feel comfortable with loosing 25$ stacks before moving up.
@Snodreliss - Ive got around 600, enough to go to NL25. But I kinda dont have the confidence, and PTs bothering me with the red fields associated with NL15....And I dont find going up the limits while in downswing a good idea but maybe I'll try
=============
Update - I've tried some NL25, same ocean, same fishes ♦ Won a buyin in about 100hands, but that red stats on NL15 is still bothering me.Decided that I'll just get it to 0 or a little + and will move to NL25 right over again.
Proceeded with my plan, +6 NL15 stacks to go.
Hmm, feels like I havent updated in a while , so I'll do it now.
Last weekend was a rollecoaster. Friday and saturday went really well, and
I managed to get 5 and a half stacks back, leaving me with around 50BB's to go.I thought as it was all pretty much over, I would start writing my blog with NL25 stories.Figures that it wasnt so, lost with aces against kings and with queens against kings, so i decided to leave the rest for sunday.
Sunday was a disappointment, pretty much card dead, good hands didnt pay off, and some incredible runner-runner suckouts for the villains.ALthough, I was seeing new faces on the tables, who were pretty loose passive and fishy, so I liked that.
We come to today - an incredibly bad day, I would say - Lost two stacks fullhouse vs quads, one stack with top set against a gutshot, another with nutflush against straight flush, and the last one with TPTK against the gutshot paying guy, who had a mid set that time.Overall, Im back where I started, around 8 stacks to go.
Im happy I took the conservative bankroll management aproach. Those swings, although big, are not affecting my bankroll a lot.Im just angry, cause I am stuck.
I can completelly understand you...
the same is happening to me - I was only arround 2BI from plan to first hit the NL100 tables and then it happened, for arround last 30k hands I had nice flow without downswings (can't say it was big upswing, just optimal 7BB/100h) and then suddenly - set over set, runner runners, villains hitting inside SD,...etd
I just can't win!!
so...this was the biggest downswing for me ever - 8BI@NL50
but yeah, as you said, it's all about bankroll management...it didn't ever heart me that much, wasn't tilting bcs of it - I was at 1900$ and now I'm at $1400, you can deal with it...
however, times are better now, yesterday I had great session with 3BI in 700 hands...so...it's all about a-game and discipline...
@ancha666 - Yup, same feelings here.
UPdate: Bad news.Mansion removed the NL15 limit. They introduced more strange games though - NL20, NL30 (and no NL25 ofc). So I guess the red numbers next to NL15 will be in my PT history forever ♦.IM going to test the waters at NL20, move back at NL10 if Im not ready for it.girls out.
Update. I played around 200 hands at the new limit.Nothing spectacular.Think I'll stay in it. Had a nice little hand though, here is it.Feel free to comment:

A bug obviously ♦
============
Let me do a little update. At around 2k hands at NL20, Im currently happy.
Tables are a lot looser, and that is just what i needed to return to TAG style ( was playing kinda LAG at NL15), here I often get called by A high on the river so I stopped trying to bluff(besides my cbet ofc). Here we have a normal blinds, as SB is 1/2 BB (in NL15 it was 2/3 of BB and with 1-2 limpers you had odds to complete with any two imo), and thats keeping me from trouble hands i guess. Currently +3 BI .
Hmm, at least some1 does ♦
Ok, lets see whats going on.
As I already mentioned, the erasing of NL15 and NL25 on mansion left me on negative balance on both limits, but, nothing I can do. I turns out that this could actually be the best thing happened to me, as I was pretty much stuck at NL15. The current NL20 tables are way more juicy, as the tight regulars from NL15 moved down to NL10, and a new ocean of LP players is waiting. The table average is 22+ VPIP, and around 3-5 PFR, which is like a dream for every poker player. My main error now is actually trying to make plays, and not realising that players are pretty straightforward(like a 20$ shove on a 0,7$ raise is crying "Ive got aces", and thus not profitable to call with QQ IMO), and also some set over set and KK vs AA thinned my stack, but fishes are there to correct it. Currently running +70$ after 4k hands, nothing more I can wish for.I think I'll be moving to NL30 as soon as I got 20 BI for it, which is like 40$ away.
My only disappointment is that I didnt have much time to go playing live lately.Live play is a lot more interesting for me,and with the right fish spotting it could be a lot more profitable.Ill planning a trip to the local casino next week, we'll see how that turns out.
Im also searching for another site to move my bankroll to, as 1000MCP mark is pretty close, and Im not sure its worth waiting another 500MCP to take a $100 bonus, will calculate when i got to 1000.
Girl's out.
and Im not sure its worth waiting another 500MCP to take a $100 bonus, will calculate when i got to 1000.
it's worth, believe me. You will nowhere get so easily earned 100$. On other ongame sites you will get 100$ for 1000PP...
yep.. consider it this way: 100$ for 500 points, and 5 points is 1$ of rake(at least in tournaments, but in cash it's basically the same). So practically you get 100% rakeback from the 1000 points mark to the 1500 points mark.
Yep, Ive recalculated and decided its worth it.I didnt like the software too, but I kinda got used to it.And the games are softer than baby cheeks ♦.
-------------
Lets get to business.I hit the 20k hands mark today, as well as the bankroll to play NL30, so I'll just move up.I think its a nice time to graph my stats.

Overall elevated VPIP is due to my NL15 adjustment, 18-19 is my real one:P
