These spots confuse me also and seem profitable, but I believe are not bringing us a tonn of money in a long run. Think about it, even if he is a total whale and shoves smth like JTo we are only putting our money in a flip and there are rarerly some hand he calls and is dominated. Instead of that play a few orbits get good reads and stack him.

I would take it postflop in this spot and try to outplay him on later streets as I believe our edge is superior in this spot.

Hi,

you don´t really get called there 88, so I think either 4-bet/calling against players who might shove there light or calling pf would be better option
