So, here's the deal. My friend asked me to make a stake with him. He claims he can get his bankroll from $25 to $300 in a month by playing only NL2, NL4, and double or nothings. To be honest, he's got loads of exams coming up, but still he claims he could manage it. But I do know he's quite a good poker player and has been playing for years now.

In my opinion, doing that would take at least 2 months by playing on these stakes. So I'm wondering what you guys think? He says he'd give me $200 in case he can't make it, but if he does, I'd need to give him the moniez.

So, should I make the bet? ♦ Sorry for opening a topic about this stupid matter. ^.^

It's possible, but i think it's more likely that he wont be able to make it. So yea, go for it.

1) He's a good player
2) He's been playing for years
3) He needs a stake for NL4

Hallo!

How long will he playing a tone day? If he has no other things to do, it is not very difficult for a good player. And the reason for this are the DoNs. They are on this stakes very soft and if you are able to beat them with 7% on the $1 and 5% on the $3 level, you “only” need round about 3000 DoNs at all to get from $25 to $300.

Well, because of the exams I doubt he'll have much time, but this guy will do anything to pull those $200 away from me, lol. To be honest, I'm probably still making the bet, he can't make it. ^.^
