Hero bets t275.00, BB folds, BTN calls t275

Turn: (t1075) 3 :spade: (2 players)
Hero bets t1160.00, BTN folds

Opponent is 34/9/1.0 per 107 hands
He doesnt seem the type that would bluff the turn if I check to him and would maybe check back his 55/66 most of the time, so I am not sure if I shouldnt just check and evaluate the turn, although it sucks if I have to fold with so much equity.
