It was interesting reading your blog and hearing you describe yourself as a crazy tilter. Your graph seems to tell another story. Your NSDW are positive in Full Ring which is rare. It seems like your style is very aggressive but there are good reasons behind your actions.

The main thing that drew my attention was your comment about withdrawing frequently to go partying and buying random gifts. There is nothing wrong with spending money on that, but it also sounds like it's getting in the way of your growth as a player and costing you tons of EV.

You don't have to give up partying or gift-buying, but if you want to maximize your potential as a player, poker will have to become more of a priority. I wouldn't give this advice to 95% of players on this forum, but if you want to support yourself from poker, your priorities have to be different.

I wish you lots of luck and hope you update regularly - your story is interesting!

Thanks mate. The reason I am frustrated is that year ago I was playing same games so nl50 on UB(nah it is even worse I was playing nl100fr back then before some retarded cashout that force me to go back to nl50). Basically I haven't made any progress in a year which is ridiculous given my winrate etc. Just I am quite good poker player but in real life I am just loose passive fish splashing money away, FML.
It has to change.

Hand against fish. It become quite common for me lately. 18 tables and some retarded misclick while using table ninja (just had action on another table where I wanted to raise but here I wanted just to call)that commit me into the pot (Villain was the mark on the table, still when I see it know I should just fold on flop cause I could get away from that pot).
My EV winrate is in this month like 7.5bb/100 which is the lowest I had on full ring games on stars. The problem is it isn't because my opponents became suddenly better just because I am not focused enough.

It is the easiest fold in the world on the River especially given his sizing which mean pretty much please,please call, yet I just can't find the fold button ♠_evil:

So basically SB knows that I am full of shit when I 3b there (cause I would float most of my value range if not all given that OR fold everythig except premiums and never ever 4b blufff). this time spanish "pro" 19/17/41. Pretty aggresive reg. That's my bad just thought that he is better. Never expected him to have set here given that I ship pretty light. FWIW, that AK in hand #1 is a snap-fold for me after a three-bet & call - even if both opponents are aggro. Hand # 2 is tough ... he should expect you to have Ax maybe even with a diamond often (AxQ:diamond:, AxK:diamond:, etc). Meh.

The more I think about it, the more I think we are behind often when facing a flop raise and without a lot of history, I kind of like a b/f there. I don't see many players bluff-raising this flop with air at these limits or turning made hands into bluffs.

The raise screams value and we do really poorly vs. his value raising-range there.

Yeah - strictly referring to flop play.

The 1st hand is huge overplay for sure.
The 2nd hand is more tricky when I thought about his range. For me it was like 77+ QJs+ sometimes 67s+. So pretty much the only strict value hand I thought he might have ther is AJs and flushes that he hasn't that many cause I expected him to 4bet/call JJ+ vs me AK for sure.
So I thought that he might have a lot of draws there (but most of the draws have there like 50% equity )
He is fighting for the pots but in a passive way (fold to cbet IP only 20%) however he only raise cbet like 8% so it should be enough for me to fold there.

I made a deal with Gerv so I will add nl50sh to my games (I will be playing on microgaming). Still gonna grind fr on pokerstars just lately I am running realy bad. I don't know if it is variance but people don't believe me at all and I don't hit the flops so basically I run like a shit.

This is a hand that I don't know if I played correctly. Villian is 16/12/18 after 189 hands but 3b 12.2% which is a lot (sample though). Thought about 4b but wanted to keep his range as wide as possible and didn't want to 4bet/fold and 4b/call would be pretty retarded with no history.
Now the problem is flop decisson I think know that c/c would be better cause basicall when I rasie he folds anything that I beat so I am staking off with like 40% equity. So basically I just could call him down. Deffo would be better play.

Franeczek, I really like your thread. Your entire description of your poker career sounds a lot like mine. I too have haunted the nl25 to nl100 tables EVERYWHERE and have always done the same as you. Like, play solid and win at like 14bb/100 for 100k hands at all different places and then tilt like a retarded idiot. Spewing and not knowing why. Moving up stakes and 10tabling and not knowing a single player. Deposit at a new site and win 100 stacks at NL50 headsup. Then lose it in 2 weeks at NL200 HU. It's embarassing sometimes when I think of it. Maybe I should post all my terrible hands of tilt so I'll stop spewing so hard. I am already feeling better for confessing these sins, and I thank you for that. I'm back mostly at stars not getting tracked by pokerstrategy. Will be supernova next month I hope, I've collected almost 50k VPP. I'm going to be following you closely and I hope that you succeed in your poker career. As for your recently posted hands:
1. You already know with this one, just fold dude, seriously. I know he is stupid, he has no idea, you summed this up yourself with his stats. But you can read him like a book.
2. Tough one and I might have played it like that but there is also an argument for just overlimping and seeing a flop with 88. Flop bet is fine I suppose, but when he bets, sure he could have a draw which is why you call but I'm more inclined to think he has a monster. That's my read.
3. That is just spew. So so bad. It's so frustrating because villain is a douche. Your play let him pwn you though.
4. Depends on your image and need to balance. Sometimes I would just shove directly on the flop, the raise is awkward and pointless. Just call and look to CR later. Villain is a douche. He is 3 betting a ton and the proof is there.
5. This happens, I guess, i can't really find the fold v this fish and I would have probably been delighted to get AI with this player on the river figuring he was just being stupid with his limped KK

Villian plays like 12/7. Overall it is pretty bad given that his WTSD is 33% after quite a huge sample. Just He called my UTG OR with 96s OOP and c/c 2 streets with 3 pair to blink the river. Sure my game wasn't good, didn't have any really good read on him.

It is like that pretty much every session when I made some assumptions about Villian hands range and then I get sth like that .
Just people get bored,tilted or don't have enough discipline to stick to their game plan and start to OR/col call some weird stuff.
Same with bluff catching my current River call efficiency is like 1.75 or so. People just don't bluff enough and I offten level myself that e.g. he will be bluffing a ton in that particular spot cause it is perfect for that while in reality Villian is just smashing the buttons or is just bad nit (way more common in full ring games) that just doesn't understand gameplan and equity stuff.
I would save a lot money if I treat my oppnents like level 1 thinkers that they are in reality.
