I'm wondering if I should have played this differently mostly on the turn.PF is pretty standard HU. Flop I'm basically thinking about how I can steal this on the turn. Turn was were I screwed up. Very sure bet/shove was the way to play it.

what's your betsizing tell? that's quite important to include because we obviously can't know it.
and if you really have one that tells you he's weak you should probably still check/get it in on the flop rather than check/calling
the tell was he always made a pot size or very close to pot size bet if he raised pre and missed the flop.If he hit bet for value 1/2 or 2/3 So I basically decided to float 1 street.The turn was pretty much what I hoped for,the J would have been better. I should have shoved the turn,but figured he would fire again which he did, river was just ugly.

np, be careful assuming too much too quickly.
on this flop i would c/r small with your read and probably shove turn if i feel he's the type to be like "lol i got pot odds" and defend against flop check/raises a ton. I like this a lot more than check/calling the flop and letting him take a freecard on the turn (and consequently river a pair and call you)/commit himself on the turn, both of which are disastrous for you given that you have no sd value/no clear outs
