Am I right that there is no advantage in not getting the VIP Stellar Rewards when they become available?
i.e. getting $10 when earned first 750 vpp?

You don't get a better return if you were to save the Stellar rewards, or use them immediately.
You only get a better return on saving up your FPP's.
You can use this for working out the best value for FPP's : FPP Pro

As previously mentioned, the VIP Stellar Rewards only ever cost 1 FPP to buy, and will always have the exact same value.
There's absolutely no difference to buying each one when it unlocks or all of them on the 25th of December of the year(except you'll be stuck clicking a lot on the 25th, it's like opening lots of extra small presents!)
As they do not have a "Value per FPP" like bonuses do, only rewards, for lack of a better term, based on "Yearly VPP gain" it's static so all boils down to whether you prefer one bigger BR boost or small ones whenever you unlock them.
