Villain 26/18/2.3, hasn't shown a hand down after 34 hands. I figured since I betted on the flop I was kinda obliged to bet the turn as well. Since the ace came on the river I decided to go for a 3rd barrel.

i hate the second barrel on the turn.

the third barrel when the ace comes is good, but usually i would check the turn behind and delay my second barrel until the river (if he checks).

if his WTS is really low, you could consider checking behind the turn, and bluff-raising his river donk.

I'm not sure that works so often (or does it?)

btw I'd give up on the turn. He could easily have hit something here, not worth it.

probably not against AF 2.3, but higher AF players are definitely capable of floating flops like this OOP.

ofc, i'd usually just fold after checking behind on the turn unimproved to a river donk

Could you explain why you like the second barrel in this hand: Nl200Sh: 55 and not in this one? Is it because of the turn card?

In 55 case fold equity is bigger because of 3 clubs on the board.

this flopcall in this hand could be a Q or lowplair or flushdraw.
Q and Flushdraw he will 100% call again.

In the other hand a scarecard hits and he is more likely to have
a small pair. 2 Barrel look in this case very strong and
his range is weaker, no Q pair and a flushdraw is unlikely.
