Preflop: Hero is BU with Q♥, Q♣
MP3 calls $2.00, CO calls $2.00, Hero raises to $12.00, SB raises to $35.00, 3 folds, Hero calls $23.00.

Flop: ($76.00) 2♦, T♦, 7♥ (2 players)
SB bets $55, Hero calls $55.00.

Turn: ($186.00) J♠ (2 players)
SB bets $125, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $311.00

Villain is 16/12/2, I had a pretty loose aggressive image on the table. Don't like to fold the turn, but I'm only beating a hand like 88-99 or AK and I figured those don't barrel the turn again. If I call the turn I have to call the river as well. Good fold?

good fold IMO. as you said, you're beating so few hands at this spot...

also, his AF isn't that high that he's cbetting every single flop i think, with hands like AK (and definitely not 2nd barrelling them)

with this read it was a good fold

I call. What's the reason for creating a loose image if you fold an overpair ;) Your hand looks pretty weak and this card might have given him so many more outs to 2nd barrel.

but 12 pfr looks like villian is a nit
i dont asume he is 3 betting light.

it would be a good spot to 3 bet light
but we cant asume villian knows this.
