0.10/0.25 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.9 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is CO with 5♥, 5♠
MP2 folds, MP3 raises to $1.00, Hero calls $1.00, 3 folds.

Flop: ($2.35) 4♠, 2♣, J♣ (2 players)
MP3 bets $1, Hero raises to $3.25, MP3 calls $2.25.

I thought he might be bluffing with a c-bet. Is a re-raise appropriate here?
Turn: ($8.85) 6♣ (2 players)
MP3 checks, Hero checks.

River: ($8.85) T♣ (2 players)
MP3 checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: $8.85

Results follow (highlight to see):
MP3 shows [ Ad, Jd ] a pair of Jacks
Hero shows [ 5h, 5s ] a pair of Fives
MP3 wins $8.41 USD with a pair of Jacks.

I like your re-raise. He often has overcards which he has to fold to your re-raise.
You might bet strong on the turn, because it is very hard to call with overpair, since also the flushdraw completed and then depends on the river you might shut down or take final stab.
