raises to $1.25, Hero raises to $4, calls $1.75

FLOP ($6) 7♠ 3♠ 2♠

As played what do you think is the best line here - should we check fold?

Stats of villain are for 6max play only, no history heads up - VPIP: 17, PFR: 14, 3b: 1.0, AF: 3 for 2.1k hands

You're really unbalanced here on the flop.

Why are you jamming this flop when villain is unlikely to call with worse? If you had complete air would you bet full pot here? How about if you had an ace high flush or a set of sevens?

Personally make a standard cbet of $2 on the flop. A lot of the time you are absolutely crushing your opponent and there really is no reason to make him fold (indeed let him think he can bluff you off your hand).

If you get called on the flop, check the turn and let him bluff, making sure to call any bet he makes as his range will be pretty wide here. I don't mind a checkraise shove but I think villain folds worse and stacks off with better usually (given you potted the flop and forced out all the 45xx hands).

I am sorry, there is something wrong with the hand histories in prima last week. Preflop action is: villain raises to 1.50, hero reraises to 4.50, villain calls.
On the flop total pot is $9, hero bets $6, villain calls (I am betting 2/3 pot with all my range here for balance). Turn total pot is $21 hero checks, villain bets $8, hero raises to $25.50. Now this is not a shove, as we have $38 effective stack more. So I am not check- raise shoving the turn, but check- raising and leaving $38 behind after villain's call.
So my question will be about the river line Hero should take. There is $72 in the pot.

To avoid a reverse freeroll where villain checks back his straights / worse flushes on the river and jams the nut flush and all houses you need to shove the river. Folding is not an option after that dubious checkraise on the turn.
