fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.20, fold, BB calls $0.10

Flop: ($0.45, 2 players) 8♦ 7♠ 9♥
BB checks, Hero bets $0.10, BB calls $0.10

Turn: ($0.65, 2 players) 4♠
BB checks, Hero bets $0.20, BB raises to $0.40, Hero calls $0.20

River: ($1.45, 2 players) 6♦
BB bets $0.20, Hero ?

Taking a second look at he hand I think it could be cb on the turn. Raise would be ugly and I don't have 2 vbets. Giving a free card to opp is compensated by the probability of bluff bet on the river. With smth like K8 it should be a sure bet I think.

Nah I like the bet.On this board his flop c/c is too often weak and sinc 4 is quite nice there is no reason to think you are behind.Once raised it should be calldown as default if board develops nicely since his line looks too strange.I dont expect them to do this with 9x,8x and better hands are not very common. This river card is not nice though and should be an easy fold.now you only meat some Jx bluff which is also not too likely. 6,T,J are the worse river cards and must be foldable.9,8,7,4,A are very good cards and shouldnt be foldable.

Yeah, I actually folded this one. My doubts were exactly about hands like Jx, Qx, maybe Kx he'd bet on this card but I also think it's not very probable.

Well you cant really say Qx and Kx since they would not raise on turn.I mean they could but its total air and that is not very likely.And in spots where you only are beating air you should fold most of the time.
