UTG: $14.43

SB posts SB $0.05, Hero posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has A♣ A♦

UTG raises to $0.20, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.30, UTG raises to $0.40, Hero calls $0.10

Flop: ($0.85, 2 players) Q♥ A♠ Q♦
Hero checks, UTG bets $0.10, Hero ?

PP may be scared by the raise but he may be also wondering why I play with monsters this way by c/r straight on the flop. In case I just call he may have troubles with betting PPs on the turn but on the river he will call on bet for sure.

Hi!

Depends on how thinking he is.If he is thinking then I like to just c/r flop and hope he has Ax or that he will cd with pockets.Vs thinking player you cant really expect him to double barrell with KK,JJ,TT here so you cc cr will fail most of the time and even when it works it will do same as if you just c/r flop.I also preffer this line vs passive and overSD bound players

Vs overagro fishy player I dont mind to c/c c/r since they double barrell too much and that is the best way to punnish it.

I chose c/r flop here, he folded right away and it was a pity. I thought it was a ggod trap but it failed so I decided to ask. And you say it's ok (and he wasn't aggro by my observations) so it was just bad luck.
