There's two ways to play this as I see it.

1- Bet ~$3.00+ on turn, fold to a r/r and check behind river if he calls turnbet.

2- Check behind turn (as played), check behind river.

As played, your river bet is only getting called by a better hand, especially considering your bet isn't strong enough to push anyone off. Villain has 2.5/1 pot odds to call your river bet, so he's not going anywhere. Check behind is the best option, IMO.

I'd take the freecard on the flop. As played, I don't see any value in a river bet.
