$0.25/$0.50 Limit Texas Holdem
4 players (stacks):
SB ($12.68)
Hero (BB) ($13.51)
CO ($27.07)
BTN ($8.51)
Blinds: $0.1/$0.25

Pre-flop: ($0.35, 4 players) Hero is BB: K:d, J:s
2 folds, SB raises to $0.5, Hero raises to $0.75, SB calls $0.25

Flop: 7:h, 6:h, K:c ($1.5, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.25, SB raises to $0.5, Hero raises to $0.75, SB raises to $1, Hero calls $0.25

Turn: 2:d ($3.5, 2 players)
SB bets $0.5, Hero calls $0.5

River: T:h ($4.5, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero ?

This hand was played not by me, I'm just copy-pasting it and wondering should it be a bet on the river or not? And actually it should be call flop, raise turn for value maximization.

As a default I would bet/call flop-raise turn as you said, you're doing great vs his flop checkraising range as there are lot's of draws available and you beat many Kx, 7x.

His river check is interesting and could imo be one of the following things:

1) a flushdraw or 98 that now hit and tries a fancy c/r
2) a value cap from the flop that's scared to bet the river putting you on a flushdraw
3) unlikely T9, T8 that spewed on the flop and now hit something

I highly doubt that he would raise/cap the flop with a 7 or a weaker King. So you're basically hoping to see K8-KT or a rare T9, T8, which are both quite unlikely imo. I would check back expecting to lose quite often in this spot. I can easily see him having stuff like 76, K6, K7, KQ, AK, maybe even 77, 66 there; also 98 and flushdraws.
