If I bet the turn, should I bet the river also? I didn't think he was folding an ace so I gave up.

I think if you're gona turn your hand into a bluff you need to bet river also. If he has some Kx hand he wont fold to 1 barrel.

If villain is passive I'd just try checking the hand down to see a showdown.

Hello thebaptist333,

Just check the turn, not really worth betting cause you ain't making any better hands to fold. If you do Bet the turn then it's kind of must to Bet also the river.
