I call the flop beacause I think he can have 77+,AQ+
His over-bet all-in on the turn makes me think he doesn't have a strong hand.

I would shove the flop... I don't think he's gonna fire again if you call the flop anyway.

I go broke on this flop against a maniac. Against a tag (the stats indicate otherwise, but if you have reads, e.g you only saw him play well, so he's just on a 40-hand heater)...well it's a tough spot, so it probably doesn't really matter what you do (close to 0 EV)

What would be the point in shoving the flop? He's generally only gonna call if he has us beat and we don't get any value from his bluffs. I like your line OP.

Also like how you played it. LAG could 2 or even 3-barrel with A high or lower pp- no need to re-raise here on the flop.

I think I'd go with the hand but I prefer calling the flop in order to get another barrel from him. Give him a rope.
