Turncheck is an option but so is b/f.By b/f you protect better and invest when you are most likely geting called by still many worse hands.Obviously you open yourself to bluffs but on these stakes turn semibluffs are not really standard.

By checking you can extract a bet when he bluffs river when busted and you cannot get bluffraised.Problem is that you dont protect against 8x,4x which now get freecards and you will be left with not the easiest river decition when diamond appears and he bets( he can just be betting 8x or 4x)

I preffer b/f and cheking river.

As played you can valuebet river vs 4x,pockets or even some Kx which might call. Thing is he doesnt have 8x or flush since he would have bet.Also Ax is very very unlikely since it would most often also be betting,appart from that he has 4x,pockets,Khigh FDs quite often and you want to valuebet these.

I agree^. When we consider checking back or betting we should think about the kind of opponent we're up against. If he's passive then sure he may have called with top pair, but he's much more likely to have a diamond draw or a weaker made hand.

If he's very loose and aggressive then his flop calling range is less likely to have a diamond draw because he'll often check/raise the flop with it. Checking back the turn to induce bluffs from loose flop calls or spewy value bets can be a good option.

In general i would bet the turn. If we get raised its unlikely that we're ahead and since we don't have enough outs to draw we should fold in most cases.

edit: exclude the results from your hand posts. The results are counter productive because we can read each others feedback and question if they were influenced by information we CANNOT have during the hand.

oh also, given that we've checked the turn we should probably bet the river against weak made hands (like pocket pairs below TT.

When he checks here its very unlikely that he has a better hand than us. He won't call our bet often but its a profitable bet.
