I was going to start a MSS grind blog but things have changed!!!
It all started a week Friday ago, when I watched Chenny888s WCOOP video series. (A really good watch btw well worth the time investment especially if you play Deep Stacks.)
After watching this I thought to myself "I think I'd like to have a go at that!" But how to do it? My br was why too low to invest in these. So while I thought about how to go about it I played a few sng 9 & 30 seater $2.40s. What do you know, I start winning straight away! I win a 30 seater and double my br, I Wow!!! $50 suddenly $100!
Now I start looking for some micro MTTs "Oh look" (I say to myself) ".50c rebuys, they look like they might be fun"
I watch a couple to see how people play them and notice fish shoving all over the place with trash and rebuying (I calculated one fish spent $20 in one game).
I decide to play Rock-MegaAgg-Push or Fold from the get-go and rebuy once per tourny and addon if it added 25% to my stack (no mathmatics in this number just figured if it made less impact on my stack it was not worth spending the extra .50c)
So last Wednesday I play one and wow I finish 4th out of 3224! $136 to the br!
br looking good!!! But I still want to try some Deep Stacks.
I um and er about Moving some br over to Stars (had a really bad run there in Jan and had not gone back sincec) . I remembered I had quite a few FPPs so decided to try satelitte. 2nd sat. I get ticket to Sunday Storm. Field of 32,000 I finish 1135th and get $72.
So now I have a stars br of $72 and my main site br is $180
Monday I play 15 SnGs and finish +$15
Tuesday I Move up to $5.50 & Play 9 SnGs and Finish +$37.4
So far today I've Played 13 (Mix $2.40&$5.50) and I'm +$15.
Stars br $97
Main site br $260 (includes some rake bonus and a weird $20 bonus I got just for login the other day)
Total br has increased from $50 to $357
First of all I need to thank Chenny888 and also The-Nose as without their vidoes I would not be getting ITM often enough.
Lets see how we go from here.
