Hi Guys,
1st hand posted for eval so go easy on me :f_biggrin:.

Poker Stars, $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

BTN: $8.30 (166 bb)
SB: $4.83 (96.6 bb)
Hero (BB): $18.41 (368.2 bb)
UTG: $5.23 (104.6 bb)
MP: $6.09 (121.8 bb)
CO: $5.11 (102.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8c 8s
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.18, SB folds, Hero raises to $0.60, BTN calls $0.42

Flop: ($1.22) 6c 6d As (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.90, Hero raises to $2.31, BTN folds

Results: $3.02 pot ($0.13 rake)
Final Board: 6c 6d As
BTN mucked and lost (-$1.50 net)
Hero mucked 8c 8s and won $2.89 ($1.39 net)

Villian is playing 21/9 and 50% fold to 3bet.

I don't think he has AK+ because he just flats my 3bet pre.
Did I play this correctly or just get lucky that he didn't have Ax.
Would villian be folding Ax here against my play?

First in zoom I would 3-bet smaller, atleast with 88. Since he flats and raises pre I think the A hits his range pretty good, so I don't think this reraise is pretty good. I do like your agressive style. ;)

Would advice you to take a look how to post hands: link.

Preflop: I wouldn't 3bet in first place. :P Cause he seems to be loose and you guys are deep, so do you really want to 3bet for value with 88? Will be tougher to play postflop.

As played
Postflop: Don't really get the point of Check/Raise? Why not just CB it and practically gain the same fold equity.

Thanks Veriz, yeah will post some more interesting hands when they come up :).

I guess I thought, given a check raise, plus my actions preflop he'd have more reason to put me on a monster.
I had just watched one of twicet's vids so that why I was bein so aggressive haha :f_grin:
