Preflop: Hero is BB with K K
6 folds, BTN raises to $0.12, SB folds, Hero raises to $0.42, BTN calls $0.30

Flop: ($0.86) A A 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

Turn: ($0.86) Q (2 players)
Hero bets $0.41, BTN raises to $0.82, Hero calls $0.41

River: ($2.50) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.64, Hero calls $1.64

Is this OK?

Hello Oly0909,

Rather CB the flop yourself or as played Bet/Fold the turn most likely, you just beat a bluff there I don't really see him raising any worse.

And even if you play this way to induce him with hands on the flop then do the same as well for the turn, doesn't really make sense to skip the CB on the flop and then Bet when an overcard comes.

It's overcard for him. ;) He might have some smaller PPs which ain't going to pay you.
