Poker Stars $25.00 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players -

BB: $8.95 - VPIP: 10, PFR: 6, 3B: 0, AF: 2.0, Hands: 48
Hero (UTG): $25.48 -
MP: $29.60 - VPIP: 25, PFR: 20, 3B: 8, AF: 1.8, Hands: 139
CO: $36.28 - VPIP: 25, PFR: 19, 3B: 9, AF: 2.3, Hands: 212

SB: $26.10 - VPIP: 11, PFR: 4, 3B: 5, AF: 9.0, Hands: 56

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is UTG with A :diamond: 2 :diamond:
Hero raises to $0.87, 2 folds, BTN calls $0.87, 2 folds

Flop: ($2.09) 5 :diamond: 7 :diamond: 7 :spade: (2 players)
Hero bets $1.50, BTN calls $1.50

Turn: ($5.09) 8 :spade: (2 players)
Hero bets $3.43, BTN raises to $16.69, Hero folds

Is my bet good on the turn?
-I don't make better hands fold, he is still calling his pp's
-I'm getting value vs smaller flushes
-I force out his pure floats (if he has them)
-I am forced to fold vs shove (not good when you have equity)
-I get more value if he calls and I hit on the river
-Unless he has a smaller draw no worse hands call me.

Which option do you favor? I don't really think I can play x/c and x/f looks pretty weak with my equity in the hand.

Hello DeMarcohsp,

Nah, it's totally fine. I would definitely go for 2nd barrel as long we went for CB. Doesn't really make sense to CB once and then Check/Fold nor Check/Call while with with it you wont get the implied odds.

Best Regards.
