OOP you should 3-bet here at least 1 dollar (10bb), because otherwise you give good odds to the button to call your 3-bet IP. The SB is a huge shorstacked fish, so I like your play on the flop. He could have some kind of draw or maybe air in his range.

I wouldn't 3bet preflop. not very good playability with A8 off

Preflop: Don't like the 3bet either unless it's for value and vs those loose guys we most likely wont be able to do it and nor have much fold equity.

Postflop: You ain't going to earn huge profit from here but it ain't a huge mistake either if you Call cause you should still get the equity against his shove. For example I took somewhat realistic range:

I just thought that I should be ahead here with my A8. Calling is not an option as well we have position on the fish. SO I pretty much expected that the BTN is going to fold and the fish is going to continue with a extremely lot of crap. That was my assumption and my reasoning for this line? Would you say my reasons are wrong

You mean preflop? Nah, not really. We should still be ahead vs his 45%.
