Just got home from a Live tournament- managed to get down to 40 of us from a starting 80, in which I was pretty much chip leader on around 45k.

Dealt with A/A, my raise attracted the second or third stacked guy who had around 38k... All in all, the flop hit - 4 - 4 - 9, I raise once more, to which I get a call. 4 - 4 - 9 - J, I push them all in at that point and they reveal pocket 4's.

Left me with about 7 or 8k...

Only just started playing Live, might give myself a go at the Cash Tables next week.

my worst was when I was a student, had about $70 to my name and $50 of it was on the table, playing PLO which I cant even really play.

got AAxx, 3bet pre, got called, flop was 7xA rainbow, got it all in, the guy shows 77xx, turn was a blank and river was the 7 for his quads

a lesson on BRM

vhallee's T-8o destroyed my AJs in a tournament at Gala Gibraltar.

I busted 9/21 with 3 paid, he won the tournament. I still hate him.

10 hour session at a cash game.

played half of it 2/5 and couldn't hit anything and was card dead.

Switched to 1/2 and ended up rebuying 3 times.

Aces cracked to kings

KK beat by AK

open ended straight flush draw wouldn't hit etc

I guess I should of ended the session earlier.... was down $700 for that one day

This was playing 250bb deep-stacked at NL10. I opened on the button with 66 and was called by BB (had me covered).

Flop came 2610. He check-raised my c-bet and I 4-bet shoved. He was playing like a maniac with ~95% flop raise over a reasonably large sample - big fish. I usually play 100bb tables so was horrified when he turned over JQ and turn and river come down with an A and a K, giving him the nut straight.

:(

Lolcall by fish :(

Haven't played much live poker at all but was playing live last Monday in a €35 Freezeout and I didn't even last an orbit! AA > J6 on a two pair flop for villain.

Managed to triple up in the next hand but a hand later KJ vs 77, I flopped a J but he rivered the 7 and that was the quickest exit I've ever made!

Was playing Unibet Riga Open in December 2011, the board was reading ~45 left, and 39 paid, sitting on 15 bb at the 3000/6000-500 level.

MP1 or so opens to like 30-35k, looking down at K:h K:s in the CO, he has a very similar stack to mine, and I put him on a range where I'd still be like 70% favourite, and ship it in for 90k+.

Folds around back to him, and he thinks for just half a minute, and makes the call, then turns over A:d Q:s so pre-flop I'm still feeling ok, having atleast hit the part of his range I knew should be there and me being a reasonable favourite.

Board runs A:s 2:s 3:c Q:c and J:d leaving me with 2k back and 4 antes(0.6bb) total and 2 hands later busting 41st when 39 was paid.

I've only played a couple of times live and don't really have bad beat, lost QQ's vs KK's. But I felt like commenting anyway

left with 5BB on the BU, everyone folds, i shove with AK, opponent shows AK,
my AK< his AK..... moron hits a flush

2 hands in a row,,, this was pretty freaky

Lost a ~650bb pot with QQ on Qxhxh against A7hh all in on the flop once live. Not a huge beat of course but believe me it hurt losing that amount of money

~450bb pot with QQ on 9Txr against villain's QJ.

Made a pretty sick read to stack off in the first place and got punished for it by the 8 on the turn
