Regional final for a pub poker league at a local casino. I make the final table which is live streamed on the internet, which for the record no-one is watching. The over zealous (non-casino employee) tournament director announces that swearing will result in immediate disqualification.
So I accidentally swear which the TD hears and disqualifies me for.....on the bubble.

I'm not questioning whether or not I broke the rule. But is it a stupid rule?
Sure I broke the rule. Rather whether or not the rule is a bit over zealous.
For those who play live I'm sure you've sworn once or twice accidentally. Even for those who don't.
What about imposing a chip penalty or hand penalty instead?
It should be rather hand penalty not disqualification, never seen such a punishment before. 
Are they even allowed to remove you from the table like that? What happens with the chips?
I'd at least contact a guy who is responsible for the TD and find out if it even was allowed, imagine such a thing happening on some higher buy-in tournament. ♦
Of course you also broke "his rules" but you will see so often people swearing on the table and if casino would start banning them then they would lose a lot of customers.
I'm not really that bothered about it. Just ended up being a waste of time. Didn't know if I would be over reacting by complaining. I think its just poor customer service. I didn't kick up a fuss or anything.
It's just a shame, since I could have gone back to back on it
