Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.05/$0.1 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9:s, A:s.
UTG1 calls, 6 folds, Hero calls, BB checks.

Flop: (3 SB) J:d, 8:s, T:h (3 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, UTG1 folds.

Turn: (2.5 BB) 9:h (2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (4.5 BB) 2:h (2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.

Final Pot: 6.5 BB.
Results follow:

BB shows two pairs, jacks and tens(T:d J:c).
Hero shows a pair of nines(9:s A:s).

BB wins with two pairs, jacks and tens(T:d J:c).

Betting the flop was ok I suppose, not so sure about the turn and river.

Hi!

Raise preflop! Unless you know UTG as decent player which would mean his preflop limp in UTG is often a really good hand, I would assume he is bad and limps a lot and A9s is favourite against that so you want to isolate him(try to kick BB out) or just play for value

Flop bet was fine

Turnbet is not so fine even though there are some arguments for it...like you protect against 5 outers/splits or whatever worse he may have...but there is not really much value in it as I dont see what worse he can calldown here

so I would preffer to c/c turn(c/f is prolly too weak yet) as he still has worse hands and then make a though decition on the river between c/c or c/f,some info on the oponent would be great but c/f should be best most of the time imo.

As played river is a spew...you have cose to 0 value here and basically you are ahead very very rarelly in the first place...c/f is by far the best play and hope he checks behind 9x,8x sometimes(hands which he would not bet usually if you check to him)

Thanks dawnfall. Was guessing I was pretty careless pressing buttons on turn and river.

Thought about raising pre-flop, but sticked to most basic shc as my post flop game is still pretty shady and advanced sh charts has gotten me into trouble.

Raise Preflop yes! And Bet Flop is ok with one Overcard and your OESD. He may fold a small pocketpair immidiately but Turn is not a bet since he won't fold any better hand and 9 has improved tons of hands and actually i would not even mind to check/fold the Turn because to be honest: The Pot is just 2,5BB big and compare the worse and the better hands and you'll see that just a tiny portion are worse hands and the vast majority has got us beat.

Would you mind to c/f the Turn Dawnfall?

I dont like to c/f turn....hands like 8x,9x can easily bet for freeSD here or some small pocketpairs ,add to this fact that vs decent portion of hands we are drawing with 5 outs I make that one more call and then fold river when imo most of made hands check behind

Ok. Most of his hands have us beat but maybe he bets something like 66 K8 K9 A8 44 etc. But a lot of players do also checkbehind but just because he could potentially bet it may be a c/c c/f scenario but though i guess we don't lose a lot by giving up the turn.
